Honoring Rev. Habid Badr
On the occasion of Rev. Habib Badr's accomplishing thirty years of ministry at the National Evangelical Church of Beirut the Church Council honored him on Saturday, November 28, 2015. During those years, "Rev. Habib was a teacher and an advisor for many, a brother and a father.. dedicated his life to care for his parish in all circumstances", said Dr. Cedric Haddad member of the Church Council. "He is the man of all seasons, served his community and others faithfully and wholeheartedly", Mr. Nabil Rahhal described him in his address on behalf of the Church Council. "He is a good shepherd who deeply loved his flock, and our community reciprocated his love with love and honor", added Mr. Rahhal. "Today, we will not turn off the candles over this anniversary cake, but we will keep them on for us and for many people".

Christmas Traditions at AUB
Rev. Habib Bader with Mrs Wadia and many other ladies from our church were invited by the Women's League at AUB West Hall on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015. Rev. Habib presented the Christmas traditions and the Gospels stories, and all cheerfully sang few Christmas songs: We Wish You a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
Christmas Carols at Dhour Shweir 2015
Our church choir participated in the Christmas festival in DhourShweiron Saturday, December 12, 2015. Rev. Badr led the choir in singing Christmas carols and the congregation joined the choir. This has been the third year—in DhourShweir—that Christmas is celebrated together among the churches and even the non-Christians in a joyful atmosphere.
Helping Hand Society Celebrating Christmas
Helping Hand Society celebrated Christmas with the elders and staff at Moadieh Evangelical Center in December 18, 2015. Christmas carols and music filled the heart of the people; cheerful faces and joyful hearts brought happiness to everybody. Families of the elders also joint the celebration. Rev. Habib Badr talked about Christmas traditions, and Mrs Najah Majdalani told them a Christmas story about joy that come from giving. The way of salvation will not be found through luxury, vanity or power, but rather through the loving embrace and forgiveness of God.
Rejoice and be glad for what the Lord as given us, praise the love that Christ revealed. The Lord has come, and He is with us.
