A Day of Activities for Displaced Kids
Our church participated in a day of activities for the displaced Assyrian kids in the neighborhood of Sad El Baouchriye, Maten in Lebanon. On the first of May 2015, more than one hundred boys and girls came to the Assyrian Church courtyard to play and enjoy the spring time along with the Near East School of Theology students. It was wonderful time and experience to be in contact with Iraqi and Syrian displaced kids.
Confirmation Service 2015
Confirmation class is when our youth in the church understand their baptismal vows and promise to keep them in their life. After a series of Biblical lessons during previous year, confirmands received at the church the Communion Right Hand and participated in the Eucharist.
May the LORD make His face shine upon them, and be gracious to them.
